Ma démarche initiale traitait de l'architecture et de son intégration dans le paysage. J'ai été fasciné par les travaux des précurseurs de l'art nouveau, comme MacKintosh à Glasgow, mais surtout par les délires mystico-surréalistes de Gaudi, ascète flamboyant, initiateur de la Sagrada Familia. Cela ne m'empêche nullement de m'intéresser à l'architecture vernaculaire et à tous les témoignages de l'inventivité humaine , dès qu'il s'agit de tirer parti des ressources alentour pour bâtir une maison. J'ai également comme référence Hundertwasser, génial coloriste qui s'est aussi interessé à l'architecture en réaménageant des friches industrielles et autres bâtiments délaissés. J'ai donc commencé à peindre des villes, des villages, des châteaux, paysages très structurés, très colorés, puis je me suis dit que la couleur n'était peut être pas suffisante pour traduire la vie qui se cache au fond des ruelles ou derrière les rideaux. J'ai alors décidé d'y adjoindre ça et la quelques visages puis des personnages entiers,

Mon travail actuel a donc sensiblement évolué vers plus d'imaginaire, résultant d'influences diverses: les rêves, l'actualité, les voyages faits ou à faire....et le vécu.

My initial approach dealed with the architecture and its integration into the paysage. I 've been fascinated by the work of new art's precursors , as Mackintosh in Glasgow, but particularly by the mystical and surreal madness of the flamboyant ascetic Gaudi, who initiated the Sagrada Familia. This does not stop me being interested in vernacular architecture and all evidence of human inventiveness when it comes to leverage resources around to build a house . I'm also inspired by the brilliant colorist Hundertwasser,  who also interested in architecture redevelopping brownfields and other unoccupied buildings. So I started to paint the towns, villages, castles, very structured and colorful landscapes , and I thought that was the color may not be sufficient to bring the life that lurks in alleys or behind the curtains. I decided to add it and then some faces of the characters intact,

My current job has increased substantially over imaginary, resulting from different influences: dreams, news, travel facts or projects .... and experience.
